“Hybrid Nature”
Facing the climate crisis and environmental awareness in humanity, this work propose a vision of the future ecological system based on the oriental elements. Drawing inspiration from the five elements that constitute nature,
work extend the microscopic world of the smallest life forms—cells, elements, structures— as motifs.
In metaverse, it allows to reconstruct the future natural environment, immersing the audience in a immersive environment. As avatars, spectators explore a surreal environment where extreme climate changes, genetic mutations, and chimeric imaginings intermingle in a hyper-realistic landscape.
This project invite you to question the future while visiting the virtual world that expand sensory experiences
to the future's virtual ecosystem, a realm where empathy is cultivated, and inquiries about the future unfold.

메타버스 속 미래의 자연 환경으로 재구성하여 실재감는 있는 몰입형 체험전시를 선보입니다.
관객은 아바타가 되어 극한의 기후변화, 유전적 변이와 키메라적 상상력으로 빚어진 동식물이 혼재한 초현실적
환경을 탐험하며 가상의 자연 공간을 유영합니다.
미래에 대해 질문하고, 공감각적 경험을 확장시킬 수 있는 미래의 가상 생태계로 여러분을 초대합니다.

Artist
Kim Bosul is a media artist and director who explores in the intersection of art and technology to create immersive experiences. Employing motifs from Eastern archetypes and symbolism, she ave been engaged in interdisciplinary work that extends boundaries, encompassing digital art, performances, telepresence, AR/XR, AI, and more.
In this project, she shares deep interest and awareness of climate crisis and environmental concerns facing humanity. Drawing inspiration from Eastern worldviews and the organic interconnectedness of nature and life, her work present a virtual utopian ecosystem of the future, inviting the audience to engage in a new and transformative experience.
